New Week…renewed commitment!

Hey, everybody…so how did you do this weekend? I didn’t do so good. I didn’t exercise at all, didn’t drink enough water at all, and ate bad stuff Saturday and Sunday! Weekends are really hard for me. But I’m ready to get back on the horse…or the wagon…or whatever metaphor you want to use! Is everybody with me? I would really like for us to get together on Sundays just for a short pep rally to talk about how it’s going and show off our points. Could we try to accomplish that? Well, next Sunday we’re celebrating Father’s Day and Mom’s 80th birthday, Lord willing and the baby don’t come on that day! So we’ll be together to show off the chart! Keep up the great work!

I see that most of you are going to ignore me…fine. But I will keep writing my blogs, which you will not read, not comment on, and we will miss out on some great encouragement with each other. WHATEVER!…………………………….No, really, come to the site. You don’t have to comment if you don’t want to. It just helps me to communicate about this on a daily basis. It keeps it in the front of my mind, which is what I must do to keep my momentum up. I have done well this past week, how about you? I walked every day, drank quite a bit of water, stayed away from sugar MOST of the time, and lost about 2 pounds. That feels like overall success for me. Let me know how you’re doing!

Okay, it’s official…I have walked 7 days in a row! A whole week with no break! That is such an accomplishment for me. I’m still struggling to drink enough water (the max, that is) and eat fruit, but I will conquer those things. I don’t know about the rest of you, but my focus is exercise, water, and very little sugar. I want to work on the other things too, but I can’t FOCUS on everything at once. So far, I’ve lost about 5 pounds, but some of that was definitely water weight. Anyway, how are the rest of you doing? Let me hear from you please…

Okay, well the response to my new blog was underwhelming, but that’s okay…I will persist. How is everyone doing today? I have already walked and had two glasses of water! I feel good, nuh-nuh-nuh-nuh-nuh-nuh-nuh, I knew that I would now…I wanted to forget the walk this morning, but I made myself a deal. I would walk but not push myself so hard. That got me going, and I ended up doing a nice brisk walk anyway, once I got out there. Sometimes, if you just make yourself START, that’s enough. I didn’t do so good last night though…I had seconds and thirds on pizza…talk about being a little piggy! But I skipped the brownie bites that Jennifer brought, so it’s all good. I have renewed intentions today! Let me hear how you guys are faring.

Good Morning, everyone!
I thought I would make us a site to come to and chat, gripe, crow, share, and commiserate with each other during this challenge (goading, mocking, teasing, trash-talking is permitted, but not encouraged). Talk to each other…communicate! All of us can really benefit from this, so let’s do it together!
